2024-2025 President’s Letter

Hello Redland Oaks Homeowners,

Happy Fall!

We hope everyone had an enjoyable summer. At this year’s Annual Meeting, we will provide financial updates along with neighborhood business/news that has occurred over the past year. Included in this mail-out are: your household ballot/proxy, financials, a 2025-2026 proposed budget and a flyer for our 2025 Neighbors Night Out event in October. This year has left us with positive updates to share thanks to our wonderful neighbors and community. Thank you to Ms. Davis for publishing our bi-monthly newsletter to share some of these updates and other reminders throughout the year!

  • We have a current Account Balance of $45,810.52  Our total expenses for the year have totaled $7,520. We have an estimated $1,200 of expenses remaining in the year. Currently, we are $10,630 under our $18,150 budget for 2025 as we continue to work on recovering our account above the standard of $50,000 for our HOA. We expect an additional $7,000 in outstanding Assessments for the year. So far, our Money Market Account has gained $425 for the year. We are on track to reach our standard account balance by end of year. Our Annual Letter, to be sent in January, will contain End of Year Final Statements, as well as the 2026 Assessment. Additional reports can be found on at www.redlandoakshoa.com.
  • The majority of landscaping and maintenance was taken care of by volunteer community members to save on expenses. Thank you to our residents who donated the flowers and plants used to beautify the entrance throughout the year! The front entrance and islands were maintained 2-4x monthly. Thank you to the Grays, DeWolfes, Mr. Froberg, and Mr. Britt for your hard work and service to your community!
  • A big thank you to our Flag Team who decorates our street with flags during holidays and specials occasions. We appreciate your time and efforts!
  • We held a successful 2024 Neighbors Night Out event that helped bring our community together with friendly smiles, food, drinks, music and games for the kids. Members from our community including our SAPD SAFFE Officer and Councilman made brief visits to share their community news and information to our members. If you have any questions or interest in helping for this years event, please let any Board Member know.
  • As always, our Christmas light contest will be held and judged the week of the holiday. Look to the website for last years winners.
  • As of last month, one Board Member moved out of the neighborhood, creating an extra vacancy for a total of 3 vacancies on the Board this year. Thank you to Christopher Hughes for serving the community while living in the neighborhood!

If you have any questions, concerns or would like to help with anything around the neighborhood or future events, please reach out to any Board Member and we will gladly help.

A quick shout out to the Board Members who served this year to keep the neighborhood looking beautiful, running smoothly, and operating efficiently. I appreciate your time and efforts in serving our community this year! Wishing all another great year in Redland Oaks!

Have a great day,
